As the students of Bishop Walker School for Boys prepare for the upcoming school year, we reflect on their very first LEGO Robotics experience. LEGO Robotics uses engineering and science concepts to help students unconsciously learn skills like problem solving, inquiry, and collaboration.
These skills are developed by completing a series of engineering and coding tasks while also understanding the STEM learning goal for each activity. The first activity consisted of a discussion regarding ways scientists and engineers reach remote places, then, students built and coded their very own science rover called “Milo”. Lastly, they coded and presented their projects. By the look on their faces, we know these scholars will be excited to experience more of what LEGO Robotics has to offer.
