The Kourtney Klaiber Fund for STEM Education honors the legacy of Kourtney Turner Klaiber by supporting a permanent charitable fund that will make an annual grant to support STEM education in Baltimore. After her passing on October 12, 2015, Kourtney left behind elementary and middle school students who grew to love Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) because of her dedication. As Baltimore Area Director for LET’S GO Boys and Girls, Kourtney understood the importance of education and worked tirelessly to inspire interest and excitement within the young students who participated in LET’S GO Boys and Girls’ educational STEM programming. This fund, established by her colleagues at LET’S GO Boys and Girls, Inc. along with the support of her family, provides an opportunity for more students to have the chance to engage in the STEM experiences that Kourtney gave to all her Baltimore students.
As a Baltimore Community Foundation (BCF) fund, we can ensure that every dollar raised will stay within Baltimore and that the BCF will oversee the work made possible through this fund. Please consider helping us continue Kourtney’s legacy by making a tax-deductible gift to this fund today.
