Making an ROV in SeaPerch

How does an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle: [ROV] work?
Students at Eagle Academy PCS Congress Heights Campus are learning all about it.
About twelve 2nd and 3rd graders are measuring, cutting, soldering, gluing and building their own ROV to use at a competition in late March. Building a SeaPerch ROV teaches basic skills in ship and submarine design and encourages students to explore naval architecture and marine and ocean engineering principles. Students learn important engineering and design skills and are exposed to all the exciting careers that are possible in naval architecture and naval, ocean, and marine engineering.
This activity takes hard work and attention to detail! LET’S GO is proud to assist this in-school special activity.
