Quanye, a freshman at Ben Franklin High School in Baltimore City, has been a student in LET’S GO STEM activities for the past few years. This year he is developing his workforce skills as a paid assistant coach with the FIRST LEGO League team at Westport Academy.
He is helping the 4th and 5th grade young engineers learn how to build a robot that can ‘score big’ in the Robot Game. As a LET’S GO STEM Scholar he is developing his employability skills such as workplace communication, team collaboration, workplace etiquette, acceptance of criticism, conflict resolution and STEM knowledge to prepare him for the 21st century workforce.
