Do I need to be a STEM professional or student to volunteer?
No, LET’S GO offers many meaningful volunteer opportunities for both STEM and non- STEM professionals. We have in- depth professional development/training for non -STEM professionals, which enables them to be effective instructors/coaches. STEM professionals are invaluable as they bring their real world experiences to our fun hands-on STEM activities. We have a wide range of needs for volunteers, which do not involve delivering the STEM activities to the students. These include: serving as mentors, general admin, student tracking and communications, and much more.

“I like the building part of the class. The aspect of how engineering is in every day life. I like how engineers help others. I believe Miss Jackie has done a great job with us and now I want to be an engineer because of her. I love the testing part of the class too because it is so much fun. I get so excited because you see that you really built that and it works.”
– 7th grade student, Mount Royal Elementary/Middle School
